Teaching to transgress toolbox
As a participant in the Teaching to Transgress Toolbox research group, I contributed to the investigation, design, and facilitation of workshops that challenge the notion of neutrality in academic institutions. Through a collaborative process, we co-created engaging pedagogical materials that critically examine the structural biases embedded in universities and art education. We conducted awareness-raising workshops in various art institutions, including Paris College of Art and Villa Arson in Nice, as part of the research program initiated by Sophie Orlando on feminist pedagogies and artistic experiences in art schools. Additionally, I took part in the presentation and performance during the study day and workshops “L’Art de l’apprentissage : Une école pour les créateurs”, organized by the Université de Lorraine at the Centre Pompidou-Metz in 2022, aimed at professionals working in alternative pedagogical contexts in arts education. All materials, including videos and resources, are available online as open-source content, designed for universities, students, and educators in the arts. By making these tools accessible, we aim to foster critical discussions and equip educators with strategies to navigate and dismantle systemic inequalities in learning spaces.
